Madeleine, founder of Salina Wedding Films
—
Madeleine is an Italy-based filmmaker, who specializes in documenting refined destination wedding weekends throughout Lake Como, Tuscany, Venice, Rome, the Amalfi Coast, Puglia, Tropea, and Sicily. Each film is approached as a personal piece-of-art, shaped around what is most meaningful to you. The result is a layered narrative, where emotion, setting, and celebration come together with depth. Guided by an intuitive understanding of each couple, she captures connection with ease and grace. Her eye is naturally drawn to elegance and movement. Her presence is calm and intuitive, with a natural sense of energy, allowing you and your guests to remain fully present. Her films feel both refined and glamorous.
Her work holds a sense of atmosphere, intimacy, and emotional resonance. It is shaped with honesty, intention and artistry, to hold its relevance over time, as a treasure for decades to come.
She’s partnered with planners including Agnese Ferraro and Salt&Aire Weddings, in design-led wedding experiences.
Who We Are
I’m driven by deep passion in what I do, grounded by values. My focus is on creating something that lasts, bringing ideas to life with purpose and care. Enthusiasm and curiosity drive everything we do. Each project is an opportunity to evolve and create something meaningful. Our clients are our partners, and what we create together is an art form.
I’m dedicated to cultivate creativity as something that nourishes my soul, allowing space to be inspired, and giving that inspiration a voice to shape a film with depth and sensitivity.
My days begin with movement alongside our two dogs, outdoors, in nature, breathing deeply, grounding myself in a sense of presence and gratitude. It’s a ritual that shapes how I see and feel everything that follows. I’m drawn to what is genuine. I love preparing food rooted in the flavors of the seasons. These rhythms naturally find their way into how I approach my work.
I value the connection I build with each couple from around the world, each with their own energy and way of expressing love. Being invited into that space is something I hold with great care.
Over the years, filmmaking has taught me that what matters most are the moments you feel more than you see. Recognizing them, and honouring them without interference, is what allows a film to feel true, and to resonate long after the day itself. So you can return to them, again and again, with the same sense of being there.
